5 Days Uganda Gorilla Tracking & Habituation Experience
This journey takes you deep into the heart of Bwindi Impenetrable Forest for two unique gorilla encounters. After arriving in Entebbe, you’ll spend the night before flying to Bwindi the next morning. You’ll settle into your lodge and enjoy the peaceful forest surroundings. The third day is dedicated to gorilla tracking, where you’ll spend an hour observing these rare primates in their natural home. On day four, take part in the Gorilla Habituation Experience—a more immersive trek offering up to four hours with the gorillas alongside researchers. The safari ends with a scenic flight back to Entebbe, possibly offering views of the Virunga Volcanoes.

Day 1: Arrival Entebbe Airport.

Upon arrival at Entebbe International Airport, meet our representative and transfer to the Hotel for overnight accommodation . Overnight at Boma Hotel (comfort) or upgrade to Hotel Number 5.

Day 2: Fly to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park.

After early morning breakfast,  transfer to the airport. Arrive in time for the bush flight to Bwindi. Meet your guide at Kisoro Airstrip and transfer to the lodge. Lunch at the lodge. Afternoon relaxation at the lodge. Meals and overnight at Rushaga Gorilla Lodge / Ichumbi Lodge /  Four Gorilla Lodge (Comfort) or upgrade to Gorilla Safari Lodge.

Day 3: Gorilla Tracking in Bwindi.

After breakfast, head out for a guided walk into the impenetrable forest and search for mountain gorillas. Once you meet the gorillas, you are allowed one hour to watch them as they interact with each other in their natural habitat.  Return to the vehicle and transfer back to the lodge. Meals and overnight accommodation at Rushaga Gorilla Lodge / Ichumbi Lodge / Four Gorilla Lodge (comfort) or upgrade to Gorilla Safari Lodge.

Day 4:  Gorilla Habituation Experience.

Early morning entry into the forest sanctuary along side  researchers and conservationists to look for the gentle giants. Unlike normal Gorilla tra

cking, this activity offers up to 4 hours with the gentle giants.  You get in-depth information on the Mountain Gorilla survival, how they build their nests, feed, groom their babies and others. Meals and overnight accommodation at Rushaga Gorilla Lodge / Ichumbi Lodge /  Four Gorilla Lodge  or upgrade to Gorilla Safari Lodge.

Day 5: Fly from Bwindi to Entebbe

Following morning breakfast, transfer to Kisoro  Airstrip and fly back to Entebbe. Depending on weather, you may have views of the Volcanoes while flying at low attitude.
